How it works The Sandcarver II System is a complete system that allows you to make photo resist stencils in minutes. Begin by generating artwork with AccuArt Waterproof Inkjet Film. AccuArt allows you to create positives or negatives using a computer and a standard inkjet printer. Expose your photo resist film using the Letralite UV Exposure Unit. This compact unit provides an 11”x14” imaging area that exposes photo resist film quickly and uniformly. Thirdly, the TriggerJet Washout Nozzle allows you to effectively washout photo resist with a powerful stream of water equivalent to approximately 150 psi. Apply your photo resist stencil to your substrate and sandcarve using the Sandcarver II.

This featured piece of equipment has a self-refilling pressure pot that allows the operator to refill the pressure-pot without handling the abrasive. With a simple turn of a ball valve, the abrasive pours from the cabinet through a filter into the pressure-pot located beneath the cabinet. Business Start-up Package The PhotoBrasive Business Start-up Package is composed of two essential components: Equipment and Education. Together, the package is designed to provide a running start to those in an entrepreneurial state of mind. The overwhelming majority of start-up failures are due to a misunderstanding of the target market, undifferentiated product or a lack of promotion. A common thread in all three is lack of capital. Again, PhotoBrasive addresses each of these issues.

SBX liquid resist emulsion is a product which can be blade-coated or sprayed directly on a variety of surfaces for general and detailed imaging applications. The resist mil thickness can be easily controlled by the amount of SBX applied on the object which provides you with custom blast depth possibilities for maximum creative expression.

After the emulsion has dried to a rubbery, transparent finish, a positive of the artwork is placed firmly on the emulsion by means of a vacuum frame or weighted piece of glass. The positive and emulsion are exposed to an ultraviolet light source (anything from the sun, inexpensive black fluorescents to more sophisticated mercury vapor and metal halide lights) and then washed or developed with a pressure washer at 400-1000 psi using regular water. After full image development, the object is allowed to dry before blasting begins. SBX yields excellent results for the discriminating sandblaster and can be easily processed in-house.

The K520 is a high pressure washing system affordably priced.  It can quickly and easily washout photo resist to yield sharp, high resolution images with up to 1300 psi of processing pressure.   This unit features an adjustable psi from 300-1300 psi with an economical use of water not exceeding 1.8 GPM.  The quiet motor makes it ideal for use in confined areas.  In addition, the on-demand power allows the machine to turn ON & OFF when you pull the trigger to avoid constant running of the machine when it is not in use.

The 35 foot power cord with ground fault interrupter along with the 24.5 foot high pressure hose adds to the system's overall safety and reliability.  The K520 requires no pressurized water system to operate, instead, it siphons water from a static water source allowing for a more remote, portable washing system.  By washing in quick side-to-side sweeps, you can develop your photo resist masks in-house effectively with consistent results which will satisfy all your low and medium-volume requirements.  Recommended for all halftone applications.

Glide-Thru Carver
The Glide-Thru Carver is a spacious cabinet with a working area of 36"(w) x 30"(d) x 34"(h) and highlights a 3" slotted rear opening for sliding oversized work pieces through the cabinet on heavy duty rollers. Special 24" extension arms, also with rollers, are mounted on each side of the slot allowing you to pass infinite length though the cabinet. Support legs under the extension arms help keep the cabinet balanced with a heavy load,	glide-Thru Carver shown with 400 CFM dust collector. (Dust collector not included).

The DC100 has been designed as a quiet, high efficiency dust collection system. The long lasting 1/3 HP motor runs very quietly and provides excellent vacuum for superior cabinet visibility. The DC100 is ideal for the removal of dust particles created while blasting in a cabinet. The dust collector draws fine abrasive dust from the sandblast cabinet into the dust collector where the heavier particles are deposited into the bottom of the barrel.
